Primarily used for Gentlemen's Coats, Weskits, Britches, Banjans (Banyans), Ladies Gowns (Dresses), and Petticoats. This fabric was also used in home furnishings such as curtains and upholstry. Damask was used as early as 1695 and was made out of Cotton, Linen and Wool. The Damask we sell is woven from 100% Cotton.
